Pay Rate start at $29-$35 per hour plus $2.50 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Install, maintain, improve and repair equipment, plant, services and building installations to set levels effectively in compliance with best practices ensuring production efficiency can be met within a safe well-presented facilityRespond to technical issues affecting production and maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PM)Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with minimal downtime to productionCarry out diagnosis of faults, perform maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational serviceEstimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required time scalesIdentify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damageReport breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to managementUse Trouble shooting method such 5 Why, fish boning, and root cause AnalysisEnsure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulationsEnsure company targets are met in respect of quality of parts producedIdentify spares requirements and log usageAssist in the development of planned preventative maintenance (PM) schedules Carry out PM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required and provide feedback to develop the system Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment Make full use of the computerized maintenance management systemCMMS tracking and Data Entry is a critical component of the jobFill in job tickets/log completion of work on the computerized maintenance management systemOperate man lift, fork and other lifting equipmentWork within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standardEnsure all personal protective equipment is identified, always available, correctly used and all associated problems are reported to managementEnsure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reported Promote environmental issues and ensure all company procedures are understood and followed Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environmental and quality management procedures are followed and achieve the company’s and departmental KPI targets Undertake special projects as required Undertake continuous training and development Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems Provide assistance and train less experienced technicians and apprentices Support training needs of the department and provide expertise to apprentices and trainees Qualifications 5 plus years experience in Multicraft EnvironmentLeadership skills and experience preferredAbility to teach, coach, and mentor a teamStrong Electrical and Electrical Diagnostic skillsAbility to read and interpret complex prints and DiagramsAbility to Work with and Diagnose CNC equipmentUnderstanding of G code and M codes is desiredPLC skills and electronic drive Control skillsConnected components, and knowledge of Allen Bradly software desiredAbility to work with and learn Multiple Types of Drives, PLCS, HMI and SoftwareExperience with Fanuc Control desiredRobotic experience is desired, but we will trainManufacturing Experience is desiredExercise substantial initiative/judgement in work methods and interpreting goalsWork independently and is reviewed infrequently with minimal supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommunicate with clarity and demonstrate excellence in approach to work and people activitiesSolid understanding of all people related processes and proceduresAble to identify root cause of any lossesGood understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor qualityAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Additional informationSite Address: 350 State Street St. Rocky Mount Virginia 24151
