Industrial Maintenance Technician (Up To 33/hr)
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Perform minor and major repair of all material handling equipment, including AutoStore systems. Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with external contractors/vendors for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform minor and major repair of all material handling equipment, including AutoStore systems. + Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting procedures on conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment. + Inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, etc. + Repair or replace broken parts. + Coordinate external contractors/vendors involved in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building systems. + Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures. + Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. + Comply with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements. + Maintain all required HAZMAT records, including maintenance. + Respond in a professional and timely manner to management and other internal customer inquiries. + Research and resolve problems related to facility's operational issues. + Operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems. + Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required. + Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required. + Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts, and order parts as needed. + Make recommendations to improve Maintenance programs or ideas. + Operate powered lift equipment and support equipment lockout/tagout procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Comply with all policies and standards. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Maintenance technician + Electrical + Mechanical + Pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + Repair + PLC troubleshooting + Electrical troubleshooting + 3-phase + Conveyor maintenance + Electrical motors + Hand tool use + Hydraulics + Service + Schematic reading + Maintenance repair + Industrial maintenance + PLC control **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 4-6 years of maintenance experience. + Experience using hand and power tools. + Ability to operate warehouse equipment and complete Lift Operator Certification. + Excellent organizational skills. + Self-motivated and able to take initiative. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Responsiveness to staff needs and courteous communication. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure. + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to interpret various drawings and schematics. + Regular and prompt attendance. + Willingness to work overtime, including weekends. **Why Work Here?** Candidates will be working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art distribution center. Operating powered equipment and wearing PPE, such as a protective harness, may be required. The environment includes moderate noise levels, working near conveyor systems with moving parts, and a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.
