Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration.  As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and asset care to maximize capacity and produce the highest quality product at the lowest cost. You will also assist Corporate Engineering in designing and installing new assets and modifying existing ones to optimize production processes, ensuring the business meets both current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage maintenance resources to support daily plant operations efficiently. Track maintenance KPIs and implement improvements to enhance reliability. Communicate key maintenance activities and issues with management. Plan and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency. Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure compliance with standards. Optimize preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime. Collaborate with engineering and management on process improvements. Oversee inventory control for maintenance parts and manage contractor services. Enforce safety policies and proactively address unsafe conditions. Assist in budget planning and monitor spending for maintenance and capital projects. Lead and support capital and maintenance projects to improve efficiency. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, and instructions. Perform other duties as required.

If you are assigned to the 2nd or 3rd shift, you will also receive an additional premium shift differential of $192.00 biweekly, which equates to $5,000 annually, providing extra earning potential for those working these shifts. Qualifications:

You must be mechanically inclined and have experience in a manufacturing or process type of environment. Requires a Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree from a four-year College or University or the equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and asset management best practices. Experience in managing/ analyzing KPIs, and driving process improvements. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to enforcing safety policies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. You should be proficient and comfortable with computers.  Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
