**Job Posting: Industrial Mechanic ($26/ HR)** Shift: 1st or 2nd (Flexibility is key) Pay: $26 an hour Location: Hialeah, Florida **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and disassembly of machines, using tools such as feeler gauges to check parts and make necessary adjustments. This position involves changing belts and bearings, lubricating machines, and changing 3-phase motors. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of machines. + Use a feeler gauge to check machine parts such as bearings for necessary adjustments. + Change belts and bearings as needed. + Lubricate machines to ensure smooth operation. + Change 3-phase motors. + Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a maintenance technician. + Proficiency in conveyor maintenance. + Knowledge of hydraulic systems and pneumatics. + Skilled in mechanical assembly and disassembly. + Ability to change belts and bearings. + Experience in lubrication of machines. + Electromechanical skills including PLC troubleshooting. + Ability to read electrical schematics and perform wiring. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience specifically with packaging, paper, or box manufacturing. + Mechanical ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery. + Experience in changing bearings, knobs, and belts. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Must bring own tools. + Preferred: Electromechanical experience including PLC troubleshooting. **Why Work Here?** Contractors will receive full benefits that go into effect 60 days after hire date. The environment has fans and open windows for ventilation. The position starts on the 3rd shift (Sunday to Thursday) with the ability to cover any shift if needed.
