**Job Title: Equipment Mechanic** **Job Description** This is a level 3 Tech role. Must have 3-4 years of experience. Example of these equipment includes repairing forklifts, cherry pickers, lift trucks, etc. Position Summary: • Performs preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. • Observes mechanical devices in operation, performs diagnostic routines and troubleshoots to locate the root cause of problems and makes appropriate adjustments and repairs. • Performs electrical diagnostics on equipment and makes necessary repairs based on the diagnosis. • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hand and power tools. • Maintains a maintenance shop, storage closets, and tool rooms in a neat and orderly fashion. • Follows through and completes all work orders in the assigned time period. • Maintains appropriate levels of material handling equipment inventory. **Hard Skills** + repairing pallet jacks + repairing forklifts + repairing cherry pickers + repairing lift trucks + preventative maintenance + electrical troubleshooting **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Lithia Springs, Georgia. **Work Environment** 2nd Shift: Wednesday-Sunday Start time: between 6pm-8pm until work completion. 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday start time 9pm until work completion. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
