Industrial Mechanic
Adecco is hiring immediately for an Industrial Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with a local client in Wheeling, IL. Weekly pay rates starting at $34.00-$40.00/hr depending on experience and competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We have 2 shifts available; 1st shift: Monday – Saturday, 6:00 AM - 2:20 PM. 2nd shift: Monday – Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:20 PM. These Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance positions require a High School Diploma or GED, along with 4+ years of manufacturing experience and successful completion of an approved apprenticeship or equivalent work experience. Candidates should have hands-on Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance skills, proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, and experience with high-voltage machinery, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment. The role demands the ability to read and understand diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals, as well as experience with emergency and scheduled repairs. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery is essential, along with the ability to stand for an entire shift, walk the warehouse, and lift up to 50 lbs. As an Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform hands-on maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical control circuits for motors, systems and production equipment. Duties include troubleshooting PLCs, installing and repairing electrical controls, and managing software and hardware changes. You will work from diagrams and specifications to conduct emergency and scheduled repairs, troubleshoot hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment, handle high voltage machinery, and perform Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance.
