Mon-Fri between 6am-6pm + Sat 7am-1pm + OVERTIME HOURS - OVERTIME IS MANDATORY$16+/hr Depending on Experience

As an Onin Teammate you are part of a metal recycling company in the Santa Teresa area.

In this position you will be required to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during working hours.This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, overtime as needed; Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary on a need basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair and replace damaged or worn partsTest mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specificationsOperate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defectsRepair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systemsExamine parts for damage or excessive wearFit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipmentUse hand-tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, or jacks and hoistsInspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating conditionPerform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machineryEnsure work is carried out following all safety rules, proceduresPerform job functions adhering to company policies and procedures.
