Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mechanical assembly and disassembly of machines, particularly in packaging, paper, and box manufacturing. This role requires strong mechanical abilities, including changing belts and bearings, lubrication of machines, and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
ResponsibilitiesMechanical assembly and disassembly of machines such as knobs.Use a feeler's gauge to check parts of the machine, like bearings, and adjust as necessary.Change belts and bearings.Lubricate machines to ensure smooth operation.Change 3-phase motors.Perform conveyor maintenance.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.PLC troubleshooting and electromechanical tasks.Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring.Essential SkillsExperience in mechanical assembly and disassembly.Ability to change belts, bearings, and knobs.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Mechanical ability to disassemble and reassemble machines.Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Must have own tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in packaging, paper, or box manufacturing.Electromechanical experience such as PLC troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is within a corrugated box manufacturing facility with seven machines in the area. The facility is well-ventilated with fans and open windows. The position requires flexibility to cover any shift, with the initial training period on the first shift for approximately 1-2 weeks. The primary shift will be the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00
