Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and disassembly of machines, including checking parts for adjustments, changing belts and bearings, lubrication, and more. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various systems and tools.
ResponsibilitiesMechanical assembly and disassembly of machines such as knobs.Use a feeler gauge to check machine parts, such as bearings, for adjustments.Change belts and bearings.Lubricate machines to ensure optimal operation.Change 3-phase motors.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Essential SkillsMechanical ability to disassemble and reassemble machines.Experience with changing bearings, knobs, and belts.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Experience with conveyor maintenance, hydraulic systems, and pneumatics.Mechanical assembly and disassembly skills.Knowledge of lubrication techniques.Electromechanics, PLC troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and wiring.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectromechanical experience such as PLC troubleshooting.Ability to bring and use own tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes working in a corrugated box manufacturing facility with 7 machines in the area. The facility has fans and open windows for ventilation. There are different shifts available: one Maintenance Tech will start on a split shift from 11 am to 8 pm M-F or Sunday-Thursday, with the ability to cover any shift if someone is on vacation. Training will be on the first shift for approximately 2-5 days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, Florida.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
