The plant operates Monday to Saturday and 24 hours a day and candidates must be flexible for both day and night shifts. The pay rate is $19/hr. This is a direct-hire position.

Responsibilities:
The Industrial Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our tile plant machinery and auxiliary equipment. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the equipment to prevent downtime and maintain production schedules. Safety is our top priority, and the chosen candidate must adhere to all safety policies, including lockout methods and procedures.

Working hours: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
-Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
-Skill in alignment and adjustment of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
-Extensive knowledge of hand tools, drill bit sizes, and their applications.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Proven proficiency in welding, cutting with a gas torch, and replacing motors.
-Sound knowledge of fundamental electrical work and experience with electrical hand tools.
-Familiarity with conveyors, mixing systems, and extrusion equipment.
-Ability to use air tools and electrical hand tools efficiently.
-Experience with clutch brakes and motorized systems in a manufacturing environment.
-Able to work with little supervision and complete basic troubleshooting and repairs within a timely manner.
