**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
The employee will be assembling snubbing units for the oil field utilizing hand and power tools, and reading blueprints. This position includes various types of assembly preparation, assembling, and finishing operations to manufacture products. You will be assembling hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components per drawings, specifications, schematics, or verbal direction.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble snubbing units for the oil field using hand and power tools.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks.
+ Perform various types of assembly preparation, assembling, and finishing operations.
+ Assemble hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to drawings, specifications, schematics, or verbal direction.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical assembly
+ Blueprint reading
+ Use of hand and power tools
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience with heavy equipment assembly such as excavators and tractors
+ Ability to use a tape measure accurately

**Work Environment**
This job operates outside in a shop environment with occasional high noise levels. Temperatures fluctuate throughout the year. The work shift may vary, including needed work on Saturdays. Dress code includes jeans, short or long sleeve t-shirts, and steel-toe shoes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
