Industrial Networking & Systems Specialist

Industrial Networking & Systems Specialist** Geismar, LA This position will report to the NCG Controls & OT Security Engineer and will be responsible for maintaining the automation security platforms and systems for the Geismar site. In this roleyou will provide daily maintenance and troubleshooting for all systems that makeup the Industrial Network (OT) security for the Geismar site secure network (i.e. IDMZ, Maintenance Segments, network switches, firewalls, servers, workstations etc.). A secondary focus of this role during times of ebbs & flows of workload will include supporting industrial networking and digitalization opportunities and improvements. This includes working with peer support groups on new application security and connectivity as well as managing the site industrial wireless network. **Come create chemistry with us!** **As a Industrial Networking & Systems Specialist, you create chemistry by...** + Using your industrial networking and automation systems experience you provide daily maintenance and troubleshooting for Geismar secure network. + Execute role request changes and denial of access request. + Manage offsite backup process. + Assist in maintaining system patching and anti-virus updates at the unit level. + Respond to cyber security threats and breaches + Train control system technicians on cyber security protocols + Maintain a high level of network performance, using key diagnostic tools. **If you...** + Bachelor's Degree (or an Associate’s Degree with at least seven years’ experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any other related technical discipline with appropriate Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications in industrial networking (preferred). + Maintain a high level of security of all computer-based control systems, to include system account management, virus protection, and firewall management. + Demonstrated work experience in basic industrial network troubleshooting + Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation, such as network architecture diagrams, dataflow diagrams, firewall rulesets, switch configurations, virtualization host configurations, and VM configurations. + Working knowledge of network infrastructure components, including architecture design, switch administration, configuration changes, hardware patching, routing, DHCP administration, segment documentation and registration, infrastructure documentation, and IP address management. + Demonstrated experience perform and loading DCS backups + Demonstrated experience communicating with diverse groups. **This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U.
