Old Mutual: Industrial/Organisational Psychology Internship Programme 2025-2026

The programme seeks to provide interns a comprehensive understanding of Industrial/Organizational Psychology through the actual application of theoretical knowledge leading to an I/O Psychologist registration by the end of the internship.

The successful candidate will be under the direct supervision of registered Industrial/Organisational Psychologist. The incumbent’s university will serve as the supervising university for the programme.

This programme will provide exposure to multiple domains of Industrial Psychology as required by the HPCSA, including:

Organisational Psychology

Human Resource (Personnel) Psychology

Career Psychology and Employee Wellness

Testing and Assessment

Electives and Professional Ethics

Internship Details

Programme Duration: 01 March 2025 to 28 February 2026

Tailored (Intern to manage the programme from submission to HPCSA to completion) Programme

A hybrid working model is applied at Old Mutual

The successful candidate must:

Live close to Cape Town office (Pinelands area) OR Gauteng office (Sandton area)

Have a stable and reliable internet connection (Wifi/Data)
