Industrial Painter
**Job Title: Industrial Painter (Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including deburring, sandblasting, phosphatizing, paint preparation, and applying prime and finish paint to various components and actuators. The role requires maintaining paint system components and ensuring the accuracy and validity of production documentation and inspection tools. **Responsibilities** + Perform deburring, sandblasting, phosphatizing, paint preparation, and apply prime and finish paint to various components and actuators. + Properly clean and maintain all paint system components daily and according to established maintenance intervals. + Ensure accuracy, revision level, and validity of production documentation and inspection tools before starting a job. + Analyze and resolve challenging painting problems and recommend process and tooling improvements. + Maintain correct daily labor time recording and accurate entries on applicable manufacturing documentation. + Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and orderly, and perform basic preventative maintenance activities as required. + Perform other general shop duties or assist other departments as business demands require. + Maintain all safety, quality, and productivity standards. + Promote a positive, professional atmosphere and support activities that enhance the welfare and morale of all employees. + Ensure personal safety and the safety of others by consistently adhering to all safety policies. **Essential Skills** + Thorough knowledge of deburring, sandblasting, phosphatizing, and paint preparation processes. + Proficiency in the setup of paint application equipment without supervision. + Advanced understanding of prime and finish painting procedures. + Ability to work from oral or written instructions without supervision. + Skills, ability, and desire to train others as requested. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Strong initiative, integrity, and ability to work effectively as a team member. + Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts for continuous production improvements. + Proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading English. + Ability to interpret documents such as safety guidelines, method sheets, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Regular attendance and daily punctuality. + Ability to work overtime as needed. + Basic computer skills. + Predictable and reliable attendance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with industrial paint, powder coating, prepping, sanding, spray gun usage, blasting, and sandblasting. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a clean, temperature-controlled facility with excellent benefits including health care, a 401(k) and profit-sharing retirement plan, tuition assistance program, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid vacations and holidays, and participation in annual company events.
