Job Description
The Industrial Painter will be responsible for setting up paint mixes and racking parts in preparation for painting. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while applying liquid paint to products.
ResponsibilitiesHelp mask and prep parts for paintingProperly apply liquid paint to evenly cover productsCheck parts for paint thickness, ensuring it is between 1-2 mmAssist in other areas when the paint line is not busyWear proper PPE (respirator/face mask) while paintingUnderstand and use computers to schedule and complete jobsEssential Skills1-2 years of industrial painting experienceExperience with paint prep, spray gun, and paint booth operationsProficiency in using liquid paintFamiliarity with blasting and sandblasting techniquesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Cerakote is preferredAbility to work with computersITAR complianceWhy Work Here?
This role offers opportunities for internal advancement and potential to move into lead positions as the company plans to add 3-4 more paint booths in the future. Work Environment
The work environment is a small, clean, and climate-controlled area with some of the nicest paint booths available. The dress code is casual, requiring a T-shirt, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
