Industrial Painter
**Job Title: Industrial Painter** **Job Description** Utilize your expertise to produce high-quality parts and products in a manufacturing environment. You will assist in the daily paint operations to ensure the availability of critical parts. Follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure duties are fulfilled, and goals are met. Responsibilities include verification, accuracy, and reporting on incoming and outgoing materials for appropriate job orders within departments, collaboration between teams, and safe transition of parts to the appropriate departments. **Responsibilities** + Verify accuracy, quality, and quantity of incoming and outgoing parts and materials. + Operate paint guns and utilize wet paint systems. + Promptly and accurately identify, locate, and process materials for job orders. + Maintain and replenish supplies and equipment and ensure order. + Prep to paint by cleaning, taping, scraping, patching, sanding, and other measures as needed. + Safely dispose of chemical waste. + Ensure proper ventilation after paint is applied. + Conduct regular audits of supplies and equipment and maintain the condition of materials. + Collaborate with departments to ensure correctness and quality of parts and materials. + Promptly and accurately report production data. + Safely operate the forklift, scissor lift, and all other life assist tools. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Painting + Industrial Painting + Spray Gun Operation + Paint Booth Operation + Blasting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Technical education is a plus. + Computer literacy. + Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve. + Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds. + 1+ year of experience in wet and powder coating. + Experience in auto-body work. + Ability to communicate with others and work independently. + Strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and initiative to learn processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with additional lines coming, offering plenty of room for growth and the opportunity to join the union. **Work Environment** Non-climate controlled, fairly hot and dirty environment. Shift is from 6am to 2:30pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.15 - $26.15/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
