Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Painter to join our team. The shift operates from Monday to Friday, 2pm-10:30pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to sandblast, load, and paint metal parts. This role requires at least 3 years of industrial painting experience and involves machine setup, product processing, and equipment maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a joystick-controlled sandblaster to remove rust from metal parts while seated in a chair.Use an overhead crane to load parts onto hooks that transport them into the paint machine.Operate a sprayer to paint parts inside the booth.Perform machine setup and product processing using defined operating parameters.Understand and utilize Standard Specifications, SOPs, manufacturing orders, and drawings per quality and product standards.Execute process setups and value-add activities to meet daily production demand.Conduct quality checks and inspections as needed.Observe all company safety policies and procedures.Essential SkillsAt least 3 years of industrial painting experience.Proficiency in operating sandblasters, overhead cranes, and sprayers.Ability to perform machine setup and maintenance.Understanding of Standard Specifications, SOPs, and manufacturing orders.Ability to conduct quality checks and inspections.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required within a certain time of converting to permanent; company offers GED program).Capability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).Physical ability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
