INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS LEAD EMEA
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the HRBP Agile Regional Lead EMEA, you will hold a twofold accountability: on one hand you will be the Industrial Relations subject matter expert (SME) for the HRBP Agile Team covering EMEA countries across the CSL group of companies (Behring, Seqirus, Vifor), and on the other hand you will be a senior HR Business Partner supporting a few business customers within the region. The combination of both roles will allow you to combine the full IR landscape while supporting business teams in the delivery of HR solutions and processes.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Industrial Relations
Support Industrial Relations queries across the CSL group by partnering with partners to provide professional, and accurate advice, resolution and representation across all CSL group legal entities EMEABuild partnerships with the EMEA partners and HR (Strategic, Site, and HRBP Agile Leads) to develop short- and long-term view, support planning of an industrial relations roadmap with important partners that represent employees in the EMEA regionBe the subject matter expert, deliver in all projects allocated to the area of Industrial Relations, aligning relationships with unions, work councils and other employee representative committees to both CSL Values and important goals across EMEA countriesAnalyze insights from employee populations affiliated to employee representative committees across EMEA, monitor/bring insights regarding employment conditions and create proactive inputs to people programs and policy that may guide positive outcomesLead/participate in projects/efforts aimed at continuous improvement of the Industrial Relations approach within EMEABe a member of the CSL Industrial Relations Community of Practice (APAC, Americas, EMEA)Contribute EMEA insights to Global HRBP Agile projects (e.g. organizational design)Collaborate with the Employee Relations team on ER matters that may have an IR component or any other consultation/notification/partnership requirementsLead the strategy setting as Subject Matter Expert for the respective collective agreement negotiations, contributing to the execution in partnership with the respective HR Site LeadLead, coach and guide the IR experts in the region (Germany and UK) and broader EMEA IR network membersHuman Resources Business Partnering
As HRBP for a set of business clients, build relationships with assigned business leaders and develop an HR Operational Plan outlining main priorities and areas of focus to achieve results whilst aligning with CSL's One HR goalsAs a senior HRBP Agile, bring forward impactful people solutions, and achieve people programs that contribute to an employee experienceBe a true partner for the business by coaching/advising people leaders and team members on individual, team and organization related mattersHelp shape us and culture of the respective client group for future growth (organizational changes, leadership and people development). Work with the Leadership Team to accelerate performance and build future leadersYour Experience:
BA/BS degree in Business, Law, Psychology, or Human Resources, or equivalent practical experienceCertification in the field of Industrial/Labor Relations5+ years' experience leading directly and being part of an industrial relations primary team in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, UK and its relevant parties (unions, works councils, employee representative committee, economic commissions)8 or more years of experience (HR business partnering, HR operations, COE or combined)In-depth knowledge of employment legislation of their home country, knowledge of at least 2 main countries in the regionVersed in Agile organization/ways of workingDesign people initiatives that enhance results within the remit of Industrial Relations.Language: English and German business proficiency (writing, speaking) mandatory.
