Focus: The Industrial Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with government and company security regulations, policies, and procedures. This role involves managing classified information, conducting security audits, and supporting programs that align with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

Industrial Security Analyst Essential Job Functions:

Implements National Industrial Security Program (NISP) policies and procedures, including managing document control, monitoring security measures, and overseeing Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Programs. Develops and enforces security protocols for handling, storing, and granting access to restricted records and materials, including preparing regulatory manuals and performing Operation Security (OPSEC) assessments. Provides security briefings and debriefings for personnel, including new hires, terminations, leadership, and foreign travel, while conducting security education and audits. Supports project management by guiding program and project teams on security scope development and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and company security policies. Administers industrial security programs, assists with self-inspections and customer audits, and collaborates with program managers and defense partners to interpret and apply security policies.

Industrial Security Analyst Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree* preferred.  Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Demonstrate strong analytical, customer service, communication (oral and written), and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and complete projects effectively. Familiar with the NISPOM (Part 117 of Title 32, Code of Federal Regulations), US Army Information, Personnel and Physical Security Regulations, and key DoD manuals and instructions (5200.01 Volumes 1-3, 5200.02, and 5200.48). Capable of interpreting and applying security regulations to ensure compliance with industry and government standards. Must possess, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Location-Specific Requirements: 

Must have a valid US Driver’s License. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required. This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
