Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Industrial Security Analyst - Level 2, to join our Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Propulsion Systems team in Promontory, UT. The Industrial Security Analyst (ISA) will be primarily responsible for all Personnel Security actions and Security Education for Propulsion Systems but will learn and qualify to perform and support the other security disciplines (Program, Physical and Computer Security). The ISA will be required to complete training/certification as a Facility Security Officer in the first 12-months and qualify to perform within the other security disciplines (Program, Physical and Computer Security) as needed. 

In this job, you will:

Maintain security’s database applications (DISS, NISS, SIMMS, Corporate Databases, etc.) Initiate investigations Assist employees, review and process personnel clearance applications  Obtain and submit electronic fingerprints Maintain personnel security records; manage customer reporting program (reportable/adverse info) Provide/document special briefings (NATO, RD/FRD/CNWDI, etc.) Prepare and send outgoing visit requests to other facilities  Process incoming classified visit requests and provide administrative support for classified visits/meetings  Assist with foreign visitors and manage foreign travel program Administer Security Education Program Assist Facility Security Officer (FSO) with oversight of the Industrial Security Program and share the daily workload of running the Promontory Plant security office. Present security briefings and help FSO develop the annual security training for cleared employees; provide initial and recurring security briefings. Control and safeguard classified documents Maintain classified contract program Assist with on-site inspections required by government regulations  Conduct investigations and file official reports Review of technical papers and Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) Review and evaluate security component of technical evaluations and requests for proposal Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degreeWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeKnowledge and understanding of the NISPOM Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;)  Database Management Skills  Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Security security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Personnel Security background - 1-year related experience desired Recent experience with NISS and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP) FSO Certification

Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
