The Opportunity:
CACI has an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Security Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Rome, NY area
Responsibilities:
Ensures corporate compliance with government regulations and policies for the protection of classified information including personnel clearance processes, facility clearances, classified information systems, reporting associated with government industrial security requirements, responses to government compliance assessments, and relevant security training and awareness activities.
Assists Government customer in processing facility visit access requests
Assists Government customer in processing system access requests
Provide security perspective to F3I-3 direct and subcontractor employees to ensure security-relevant issues are understood and considered when formulating business strategies.
Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and programs covering all areas of security including the handling of classified material, personnel security, physical and operations security, threat assessments, communications security, and security awareness.
Develop and maintain contact and associations with counterparts in Industry and Government.
Provide daily security guidance, interpretation and support to F3I-3 employees, subcontractor security offices and government customer representatives, to include the issuing and maintenance of DD254s.
Advise and assist personnel with the handling, storage, and transmission of classified material.
Analyze and interpret government security classification guides to determine security requirements and prepare standard operation procedures and security plans.
Prepare Visit Authorization Requests and badge requests for all cleared employees.
Implement federal security regulations as they apply to company operations.
Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
Establish procedures for handling, storing, and records maintenance, including personnel security files and databases, and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials.
Obtain justifications and prepare personnel security requests for initial investigations, reinstatements, conversions and periodic re-investigations using e-QIP, JPAS and SIMS software.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be U.S. Citizen and hold an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
BA/BS degree and 3 years’ relevant experience, may be substituted with 10 years’ experience in lieu of education
Established and productive professional individual contributor
Able to work independently with general supervision
Direct experience managing personnel clearances
Direct experience managing transfer and storage of classified information
Direct experience processing facility visit requests for direct and subcontractor personnel
Direct experience generating and maintaining Forms DD254 “Contract Security Classification Specification”
Direct experience explaining facts, policies, and practices relevant to program security requirements

The proposed salary range for this position is:
