Pratt & Whitney Government Security Compliance is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist who will provide technical support for organizational compliance, general security administration, and customer service support, as directed. This position will provide security support to a multitude of customers and work locations, thus, efficiency, attention to detail, and positive and effective communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate must be flexible to meet the immediate needs of our customers and display strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate to multiple levels of the organization.

What You Will Do

Assist in the full scope implementation of the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule, and company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements. ​Implement the industrial security program by ensuring company, DCSA, and customer security requirements are met.Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security Plans (OPSEC), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Transportation Plans, etc. Conduct self-inspections, internal reviews, and government inspections and respond to deficiencies/findings discovered during audits and follow up with appropriate corrective actions.Provide security briefings and debriefings in accordance with the government security requirements. Assist with investigations of security infractions/violations and preparing reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise of information.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor's degree​5 years of security experience or 3 years’ security experience with an Advanced DegreeThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceMust be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
