Job Summary: ... The Industrial Service Technician performs routine service visits at customer locations to validate chemical treatment programs through field testing and equipment inspections. Providing professional and quality customer service is a priority. This role involves troubleshooting, minor repairs, and ensuring proper chemical dosing, along with documenting all service activities in Salesforce.
Perks: Company Vehicle: Work truck provided (personal use up to 500 miles/month, gas & maintenance covered). Take-home vehicle.
Benefits: Medical, etc. after 60 days
Holidays: 11 paid days
Vacation: 2 weeks
401K: 3% match
Profit Sharing: Up to 5% annually
No Commission: Hourly role with a 2% bonus on serviced accounts

Responsibilities:
Travel to assigned accounts to perform water treatment analysis and inspect equipment.
Conduct system inspections and document findings.
Build customer relationships and address concerns.
Identify and escalate chemistry or equipment issues requiring adjustments or repairs.
Calibrate and maintain pumps, probes, and sensors; perform repairs as needed.
Adjust chemical feed rates based on system requirements.
Troubleshoot basic plumbing and minor electrical issues.
Document all service visits via Salesforce and report to the point of contact.
Assist with equipment installations and special projects.
Monitor and manage customer chemical inventories.
Follow company and customer safety policies, including DOT HazMat training requirements.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Experience: 2+ years in water treatment and equipment repair (HVAC, chemical, or mechanical preferred)
Computer Skills: Salesforce, Outlook, Excel, Word - ability to manage service visits using digital tools
Driver's License & DMV Record: DOT-regulated (1 point okay, 2 points require insurance approval, 3 points disqualify)
Time Management: Ability to handle a large service region with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 60 lbs, maneuver 250-550 lb drums (with proper tools), and work at high elevations
