**Job Title: Industrial Sewer** **Job Description** Industrial Sewing Machine Operator This position will be responsible for Sewing operations within the Composite Products department. • Perform heavy duty sewing. • Conduct normal setups and operation of all equipment and maintain the machine in good working order. • Identify part defects and make proper corrections. • Cut and develop patterns per blueprint and production planning specifications. • Work with the Manufacturing Engineer to develop new processes for new products. • Record all traceability information of material used and log on shop travelers. • Assist the department in developing techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and share job knowledge within the department. • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOD-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards. **Hard Skills** + Industrial Sewing + Sewing Machines + Blueprints **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Los Alamitos, California. **Work Environment** Large Manufacturing Aerospace Manufacturing company (500 employees). **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
