**Job Title: Industrial Sewer** **Job Description** Responsible for the fabrication and construction of theatrical and acoustical curtains and other fabric-related projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Assist in the construction of all soft goods, including but not limited to, cutting, sewing, installing rivets and grommets, folding, and manipulating small to large curtain panels. 2. Follow Corporate Policy as described in the Employee Handbook. 3. Follow all safety rules as described in the Shop Safety Rules. 4. Perform additional duties as required by management. **Hard Skills** + Able to use single-needle heavy-duty industrial machines + Basic math skills + Work with heavy velour, other fabrics, and related soft goods + Able to lift 25-35 pounds + 1-3 years sewing experience + Experience on industrial sewing machines (a plus) + Assembly line experience (a plus) **Soft Skills** + Good written and oral communication in English **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas. **Work Environment** Available to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
