Role description:
The Arcadis Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization (IWTO) team is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the growth and development of the industrial water/wastewater projects through their application of knowledge and expertise in the field of process engineering, client services, and project management. This is an action‑oriented position requiring the selected individual to drive market growth, support development of existing talent, and delivering high quality solutions.

Role accountabilities:
Accountable for, but are not limited to:
Project management of industrial water/wastewater consulting, design, and design-build projects. Provide leadership, direction, coaching to project team members. Make decisions guided by organizational strategies and objectives. Demonstrate expert critical thinking, accountability, collaboration, communication, self-discipline, self‑development, conflict resolution, and adaptability/flexibility skills. Work in and contribute to business development, technology and project delivery, and operations management. Lead and create sustainable project delivery capabilities including recruiting and hiring of staff to accommodate the growth of the business. Develop personal relationships with strategic client’s key personnel. Be recognized as a key leader in client organizations.The Senior Project Manager should have a strong understanding of industrial water, business trends and competitor strategies, a strong understanding of regulatory environment and trends for industrial water, excellent technical writing skills and proficiency in managing and delivering projects (conceptual, design, and operations). The ideal applicant will have experience with capital and O&M cost estimation, project scheduling and work planning, market perspective and strong client contacts.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering field. Planning and oversight of execution of treatability tests to demonstrate proof of concept. Interpretation of treatability testing results for full-scale system design. 15+ years’ experience in consulting engineering and project management. PE registration in one or more states preferred.Preferred Qualifications:

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116,000- $174,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
