Our Opportunity
The Industrial Work Package Manager (IWPM) is the Industrial interface with Project Management/Business Lead for Production Work package that we deliver.
You will be responsible for preparing the Industrial work package and delivering all work package activities (including those relating to risks and opportunities) with the support of the Industrial team.
Key tasks and activities will include:
Elaborates the detailed breakdown required to achieve the IWP that captures the
deliverables, schedule and labour cost.
Oversee the IWP activities and ensure that milestones are achieved on schedule
and within budget.
Track labour spend for IWP resulting in status of both Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Unit Production Cost (UPC).
Track schedule adherence and progress (aligned to ERP).
Regularly report status on schedule and cost to the Project/Business (Project Manager/Business Lead) and Industry (Head of Industry). Includes standard
reporting pack into Project/WP Reviews.
Manage associated risks and opportunities to IWP including holding/attending Risk
Reviews.
About You
We are looking for a confident, analytical and organised individual with experience within a manufacturing environment.
Someone with a strategic mind-set and the ability to think ahead and plan effectively.
You will need to actively build and maintain strong, effective relationships across both Industry teams and Project Management as well as the wider business.
You will need to have a good understanding of ERP/PDM system principles as well as an understanding of Supply Chain.
