Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Industrialization Project Office Director located in Prai, Penang.
The Industrialization Project Office Director drives the NPI and product industrialization process for our Embedded Power organization. The role manages the initial prototypes, equipment/fixtures, supply chain, and quality through various development builds up to mass production release achieving the targeted UPH and Yield. The Industrialization Project Office Director works closely with the R&D project managers, various engineering disciplines, operations and coordinates the other Industrialization functions (Product Engineering, Process Engineering, and Test Development) to successfully realize the product release to Mass Production. Reporting to the Industrialization Project Office Director is a team of Project Managers assigned to products undergoing the industrialization process.
What a typical day looks like:
Provide feedback to R&D, Test Development and Operations through the Dfx process and reviewsManages the Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT builds in multiple facilities/regionsArrange sample delivery logistics with internal and external stakeholdersManages DoEs(Design of Experiment) during the development and PRQs (Post Ramp Qualifications) as needed after the product has been released to Mass ProductionDrive teams to solve build issues originating in design, process, materials, equipment or testCoordinate with R&D on the RYG BOM and drive the NPI build materialsManage the budget, schedule and execution of the Unique Production Equipment and fixtures in combination with the Test Development and CapEx teamsOversees the governance mechanisms of FPLC as it relates to the buildsFacilitate Operations planning for NPI and eventual Mass Production in terms of Man/Machine/Materials/MethodThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Typically requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in NPI/Industrialization, or a similar role.Strong understanding of manufacturing and development environmentsAbility to efficiently work in a fast moving multi site / multi geography environmentsTo be both a team leader and an individual contributorExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
