This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose
In this role, you are jointly responsible for ensuring that the production process runs smoothly from a technical perspective and for ensuring that all safety-related requirements are met.
Key Accountabilities
Ensuring the trouble-free use of the mechanical systems in the production processMaintenance and repair of automated production systems and control technologyIndependent execution of electrical and mechanical workCompliance with all regulations regarding safety, environmental protection and healthImplementation of the requirements for preventive maintenance, as well as their documentationMaintenance and functional testing of safety devices in accordance with the maintenance planEarly detection of technical risk potentialsJoint responsibility for all work relating to approval procedures (permit system)Support, supervision and monitoring of external techniciansParticipation in the continuous improvement processTechnical advice and support for investment and conversion projectsSupport of company initiatives and activities relating to occupational safety (e.g. zero harm)Participation in the updating of SOPs, OPLs and operating instructionsCompliance with general and specific HACCP and hygiene requirementsSupport with certification and auditingMinimum Qualification:
Successfully completed training as an industrial electrician or mechatronics engineer Minimum 5 years of professional experienceStrong communication skills and very good social skillsVery good knowledge of German and basic knowledge of EnglishPreferred qualifications:
