As an Industrial Technical Consultant, you will be focused primarily on slurry formulators and wafer manufacturers that supply semiconductor fabs. However, this role will also support all CTG customers or segments that have management of change (MOC) requirements or maintain quality scorecards (i.e., Catalyst, Specialty Coatings, and Precision Investment Casting). The Industrial Technical Consultant will be a subject matter expert (SME) on Nalco’s colloidal silica process and its impact to CTG customers.

What You Will Do:
Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with key stakeholders within quality management systems, such as research, supply chain, marketing, and sales to resolve customer quality issues and proactive feedback.
Drive customer quality communication and satisfaction; drive improvement at our high-priority accounts, which is measured by customers’ scorecards; and develop plans to improve customer satisfaction and relationships.
Support quality initiatives, such as management of change (MOC) initiative and risk assessments, as Nalco builds capacity and a more robust Supply Chain to meet demand in the MicroE industry.
Assist sales representatives and Corporate Account Managers in making industry-specific technical/application related sales calls and presentations in specific product and market applications.
Work with marketing and sales stakeholders to identify new product and program applications, which could lead to innovation projects, either short-term (“Just-Do-It”) or longer-term, intermediate, or full Phase-Gate efforts.
Provides on-the-job product and sales training as appropriate and identifies training and reference materials needed for field sales training program.
Position Details:
This position is remote and will primarily support customers in North America and Asia Pacific.
Targeted accounts in the Microelectronics Industry.
Up to 40% overnight travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering or related technical degree.
10+ years of related industry experience in Microelectronics, Semiconductors, CMP, or related manufacturing experience.
Project Management experience.
Statistical knowledge and background related to SPC, process control, and manage of change.
Engineering knowledge and experience with manufacturing, quality management systems (QMS) and strong systematic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of colloidal silica operations.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience and/or desire to teach, train and coach.
Strong collaboration skills that can be utilized with internal and external customers.
Excellent team orientation, proactivity and sense of urgency in supporting business growth and market leadership through differentiated technology and expertise
