Industry Vertical Manager - North America
**Location:** Houston, TX Individual Contributor **A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)** Start your day by staying informed on the latest market developments through various sources. Conduct an internal alignment call with a cross-functional team to define the bidding strategy for individual opportunities. After lunch, attend a customer meeting to understand their development and growth plans, identify potential partnership opportunities, and present Siemens Energy's capabilities. Use the afternoon to work on strategies for individual business fields, ensuring timely completion and adaptability to changing demands. Before the day ends, review target figures based on target projects and aligned bidding models, ensuring alignment with the global strategy. **How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)** + Gain market visibility by identifying new business opportunities early and regularly updating market information and opportunities pipeline via the Sales Force tool for Order Intake forecast and planning. + Support the growth of Industry customer segments with a coordinated go-to-market strategy, innovative business models, and new concepts as part of a global sales function team. + Serve as the single point of contact for the complete GT portfolio to customers and internal sales colleagues in commercial matters, influencing teamwork. + Engage at all levels of the clients’ organization, negotiate and manage contacts, and build customer relationships within multiple client verticals to effectively position Siemens Energy’s technologies and solutions. + Continuously identify new sales opportunities and provide consultative sales support by building value propositions for Siemens Energy GT products, services, and solutions. + Support internal teams by offering account-specific, market, and competitive insights to help develop compelling value propositions. **What You Bring (requirements)** + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and/ or Business field + 8+ years proven experience, including 5+ years of sales/engineering experience with industrial and infrastructure application customers + Experience with High Voltage generation, transmission and distribution products and solutions is required. + Ability to build, grow and maintain strong executive relationships. + Candidate must be located in Houston, TX or surrounding area or be willing to relocate. + Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and occasionally internationally. + Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
