Infection Control RN needed in Newark, NJ area
We are currently seeking an Infection Control RN for our facility in the Newark, NJ area. Responsibilities: + Review and keep policies updated + Monitor and ensure infection prevention is being done + Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, coordinate and direct infection control program + Ensure facility follows current CDC, OSHA and local regulations + Assist in maintaining infection control precautions and aseptic techniques are followed Experience: + Infection control in long term positions + Minimum three years of nursing experience + Familiar with long term care rules and regulations + Dealing with both state and federal regulations Requirements: + RN licensure, B.S. preferred + Must understand infection control + Must understand the importance of vaccines Additional Details: + Needs to be flexible, able to work core hours + Occasional weekend work may be required depending on needs + No on call responsibilities, unless there is an emergency + Very competitive hourly wage with benefits - $53 / hour To learn more, please apply directly to this posting or email your updated resume to marlene.pritchard@adeccona.com.
