RN Facility Educator Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include educational programs, provide training to nurses and skilled nursing staff, infection control education, assisting with care plans, and ensuring all aspects of compliance are being followed.IFC REQUIREMENTS
Infection Control Nurse Responsibilities & Duties Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures Conduct regular assessments of the facility to identify and mitigate potential infection risks Train staff on proper infection control techniques and protocols Monitor and report on the incidence and trends of infections Investigate and respond to reports of infections Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement infection control programs Stay up-to-date with current infection control practices and regulations Provide guidance and education to patients and families on infection control measuresCertification in Infection Control (CIC) Experience in epidemiology or public health Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of local, state, and federal infection control regulations Experience in staff education and training Proficiency in data analysis and reporting Registered Nurse (RN) license
Education Requirements:
Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience within a nursing care center or other related healthcare settings. Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc. Superior communication and presentation skillsBenefits:
