We are seeking a Infection Prevention Practitioner who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola Medicine. In return, we provide a supportive atmosphere where you can grow your career and make a lasting impact.

Conducts infection surveillance and educates all staff levels within the organization with respect to infection control. Participates in program development designed to address local and national trends, and recommendations of organizations such as the Joint Commission and the Centers for Disease
Control. Collects, measures, and analyzes data and pertinent research in the areas of infection control. Develops policy, procedure, presentations, and articles for internal and external publication. Consults on issues related to emergency management and construction. Develop articles and presentations for internal and external audiences. Facilitate monthly Infection Control meetings.

We seek Colleagues with:

Education: Bachelors Degree Preferred: Masters Degree Specify Degree(s): Nursing, Medical Technology, Epidemiology, Public Health

Experience: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience Details: Minimum of 3 years in Infection Control and 3-5 years in field of clinical specialty.
