Infection Preventionist

The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner.  An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field. Or equivalent educ/experience.  within 1 year of hire National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology. 1 year Healthcare Experience. 1 year Epidemiology Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field. Or equivalent educ/experience. 4 years Healthcare Experience. 2 years Epidemiology Experience.
