Conduct activities related to exposure of patients andLead daily departmental huddles and other department level meetingsParticipate in teaching opportunities in School of Public Health/School of Nursing or equivalentRequired Qualifications*MPH with relevant classwork or experience in Infection Prevention, healthcare, public health, laboratory or related field Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsData collection and analysis, report writing and data presentation skillsAbility to use a variety of computer programs and software applications to apply epidemiologic principlesDesired Qualifications*Board certified in Infection Prevention (CIC)Minimum of 5 years of experience in infection preventionModes of Work

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
