Responsibilities The Infection Prevention Nurse is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of the Infection Prevention Program. Collects, analyzes, and reports infection control data; assists with staff/Medical staff education and orientation; initiates and reviews policies; and monitors compliance with regulatory agencies. Reports to the Director of Quality or designee. Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelors in nursing degree Registered Nurse with 4 years of clinical experience Preferred Job Requirements: Certified Professional in Infection Control (CPIC) Certification 2 years infection prevention Experience working with CMS Regulations, TJC and OSHA Standards
