Academic Infectious Disease Physician - Tufts Medical Center - Boston, MA
Tufts Medical Center Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Disease is seeking an Academic Infectious Disease Physician interested in General and/or Transplant Infectious Diseases to join our growing team of outstanding physicians.

The Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Disease is experiencing growth across many programs including infections in immunocompromised hosts, infection prevention, antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship, outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy, medical microbiology, travel medicine, care for people with substance use related infections, HIV care, and care for people with tick borne illnesses.

Responsibilities:
The Academic Infectious Disease Physician will support patients with a wide range of complex infectious disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
You may provide infectious disease support through our Heart ID program to the largest orthotopic heart transplantation program in New England, as well as to our hematopoietic stem cell, growing renal and newly launched liver transplant programs.
Participate in new and exciting clinical research to help pave the way for improved patient care.

Requirements:
M.D. degree, Infectious disease board eligible or certified, with experience appropriate to your career level.

Compensation:
Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.
