What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Security Engineer to provide expert technical services on all aspects of Information Security. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our security posture through policy development, system assessments, and collaboration with various IT groups to ensure security is integrated from the ground up.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform Operations & Sustainment (O&S) functions for the network security infrastructure. Conduct maintenance and advanced configuration of security equipment to guard against cyber threats. Utilize security tools such as ACAS, HBSS, Carbon Black, Tanium, RedSeal, and EMET for monitoring and response. Conduct forensic traffic/log analysis for issue isolation and response. Manage network infrastructure standards and documentation. Generate and present monitoring/test results and reports. Participate in integration testing and special projects as required. Review and address Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for remediation processes. Implement technical solutions to address vulnerability findings. Exhibit proficiency in both Unix/RHEL OS scripting and Microsoft PowerShell scripting. Understand Windows Enterprise AD architecture and VMWare Virtualization. Expertly manage network routing and VLAN technology.
