As an Information Management Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data governance practices within the company. Primary duties will include: * Deploy and customize the -Data Governance in a Box- framework across departments, ensuring compliance with internal data policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) * Work with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership and accountability roles, ensuring that all teams understand their responsibilities regarding data security, usage, and integrity * Develop and maintain a data quality framework, ensuring that all data is accurate, consistent, and complete, supporting informed decision-making * Implement data access and security controls, including role-based access management and data monitoring tools, to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access * Lead the implementation of privacy and compliance controls, including privacy impact assessments, data anonymization tools, and data retention policies * Ensure the company complies with data privacy regulations and maintains best practices for managing sensitive data * Identify and assign data stewards for critical data domains and ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and responsibilities to maintain data governance practices * Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure that data cataloging and metadata management are aligned with business goals * Lead the monitoring and reporting process to track data quality, accessibility, and compliance KPIs.
