As FIPS 140 Security Engineer , – You will:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCVP Certified Tester\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Must- Haves (Hard Skills):

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of FIPS 140 requirements\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, hashing/message authentication algorithms, PKI, random number generators, etc.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience with various programming languages (C, C++, Python or Java) and development environments.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tyou will get an exciting opportunity to work in the growing IT Security field in support of National defense.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThe products you will touch will be deployed into larger systems and/or deployments to facilitate secure communications for our military in the modern cyber warfare environment.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCome be a part of an expanding industry that is integral in ensuring our National Security.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to comprehend security standard requirements and apply them to products.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of common security related protocols and their design (i.e., SSH, IPsec, TLS, etc.).\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience building testing environments, performing testing and reporting results (technical writing).\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong problem-solving skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong multitasking and time management.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tYou’ll get an opportunity to learn from Industry experts work with various Commercial off the Shelf products across many technology types and be able to use your skillset in a hands-on lab environment.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Required Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of FIPS 140 requirements\r\n\tKnowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, hashing/message authentication algorithms, PKI, random number generators, etc.\r\n\tExperience with various programming languages (C, C++, Python or Java) and development environments.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Nice to Have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience with VHDL and Verilog languages.\r\n\tExperience with debugging (GDB, Win DBG, Visual Studio, etc.).\r\n\tExperience with statistical analysis of entropy sources.\r\n\tKnowledge of OpenSSL and/or OpenPGP.\r\n\tVulnerability Analysis and/or penetration testing experience/expertise.\r\n\tStrong knowledge of computer security principles and best practices.\r\n\tRelated certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE).\r\n\tKnowledge of Active Directory and Linux.\r\n\tHands on experience using tools such as an oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, signal generator, etc.\r\n\tKnowledge of X.509 certificates and their attributes as well as protocols such as CDP and OCSP.\r\n\tExperience setting up networks and familiarity with subnets and routing.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Education & Experience:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRequire BS degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate : $75- 80 Per hour.
