Job Description:

In this role you will provide mentorship to Bank of America's System Defense team members in EMEA that specialize in Endpoint, Network and Application Security: Outline direction, as well as acquire talent and resources as needed.

You will offer specialized support and direct guidance needs related to the team’s mission to provide the first line of defense for Bank of America’s global environment and safeguard against various cyber security threats including

Denial of Service AttacksMalware AttacksApplication Attacks

Responsibilities

Be a member of one or more of the aligned teams, which will require dynamic participation that includes:

Building and tuning of detective and response capabilitiesInvestigating and disposition of alertsContainment and remediation of identified threats.Work closely with the EMEA Cyber Threat Defense Lead and global cyber security structure owners to ensure alignment with expectations.As a key member of the Global Information Security Cyber Threat Defense team, this role in EMEA is also required to:Be directly involved in Information Security Incidents as they occur.Coordinate and work collaboratively with global colleagues across the enterprise to resolve relevant issues.Ensure a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and drive.

Skills

Extensive experience in Information Security, with experience in network perimeter defense and/or malware investigation desirableExcellent communications skills to enable rapport to be built with stakeholders and colleagues.An investigative mindset open to learning new skills and discovering how unfamiliar technology works.CompTIA A+ S+ N+, Cisco CCNA / CCNP, CISSP, CCSP or relevant GIAC certifications preferred.Knowledge of at least one major cloud services provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) technologiesResponsive, reactive, and able to switch mindset and wear many hats (investigator, manager, interviewer, troubleshooter) without impacting performance.
