Informatics eLearning Specialist II
Under the direction of the Informatics Training Manager, the Informatics eLearning Specialist contributes to the development of eLearning educational opportunities and curriculum for Valleywise Health. You will utilize organizational and computer skills to design, develop, and implement curriculum and applications to enhance the educational opportunities for all Valleywise Health employees. You’ll provide input on the system-wide assessment of academic needs, assist in determining appropriateness for eLearning curriculum development, and contribute to the changes and modifications of existing learning materials. This role supports ongoing employee training and management of the Learning Management System (LMS). This position is responsible for developing and delivering instructor-led and web-based training materials.    Annual Salary Rate: $71,032.00 - $104,769.60   Qualifications Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in education, instructional technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work in lieu of a degree. A master's degree is preferred and may substitute for the required experience. Experience: Must have a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in instructional design, development of web-based curriculum, working with various computer programs and applications, and strategic planning that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have experience as a Learning Management System administrator. Prefer experience and understanding in executing comprehensive organizational training initiatives. Specialized Training: Must have high-level knowledge and experience with learning industry development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and Acrobat, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia and be able to teach others how to use them. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires knowledge of training methods, procedures, and practices used in software training/education. Requires the ability and skills to collect and analyze data, perform workflow analysis, and translate the outcome into curriculum. Must be able to exercise individual judgment and initiative in conducting the necessary training program facilitation, including coordinating activities with diverse groups and individuals. Must be able to develop initiatives in an innovative manner for effective resolution, prepare and conduct effective presentations, assess priorities, and manage eLearning development projects and client expectations through timely, cost-effective deliverables. Must have the ability and knowledge to support multiple applications simultaneously. Must possess good verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills, including basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation knowledge. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
