Join us! **Job Description:** This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining the primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Job expectations include defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers. **Responsibilities:** + Consults with the business and operations to identify and understand challenges and opportunities to improve the use and effectiveness of technology, find creative solutions through knowledge of the domain, practical experiments, and Proof of Concepts, and aligns the solution intent and architectural vision to an evolving backlog of technology change + Works with product management and other stakeholders to plan and prioritize technology focused backlog items for the architecture runway to enable business epics/features + Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a solution are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability) + Leads rapid shaping of a high level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements and ensures architecture is flexible, modular, and designed to adapt easily + Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions + Clarifies the architecture and assists with system design for the development teams to support implementation and provides solution options to resolve any architectural impediments + Utilizes the defined best practices, templates, and documentation to create architectural designs and suggests improvements to best practices and templates **Position Summary** This **Information Architect** position will provide information architecture support for the **Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology** (ERFT) application portfolio, providing critical input into strategic efforts within Global Risk & Compliance, Corporate Treasury and Finance. The qualified candidate will be responsible for covering data aspects of key architecture projects in ERFT, analyzing and designing enhanced data flows, working on rule engine-based data classifications initiative, architecting the solutions for feed and respective SLA registries, master/reference data management solutions, as well as conducting data modeling governance for ERFT Platforms. The Information Architect will also support current projects focusing on adherence to Information Security policies as it pertains to protecting data assets at-rest and in-motion, as well as EDM/BCBS-239(RDA) policies and standards across ERFT data and reporting platforms, inclusive of the aspects of metadata, lineage and data quality controls, with the emphasis on the Authorized Data Source (ADS) adoption process. **Required Qualifications:** + **7+ years’ experience as an architect or senior business/technical analyst, with experience documenting complex business processes and data models** + Hands-on experience in designing, building and delivering large scale technology projects + Extensive & specific business knowledge of the banking industry e.g. Quantitative skills, Finance, Capital Markets, Risk & Compliance as well as broad understanding of applications and systems + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and networking skills + Experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modelling, and analysis of large data sets for large scale multi-system environments, including the development of information strategies and their execution. + Experience with the development and maintenance of business architecture models + Proven track record in working alone and within a team across silos to develop solutions. Experience in the design, development and roll out of enterprise level architecture strategies, including financial analysis to qualify and quantify value-based decisions that support strategic recommendations + Experience with Microsoft Office, SQL and VB Scripting. **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience and/or exposure to Databases (such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, HANA, Teradata), Big Data (e.g. Hadoop/Spark); Informatica, DataStage, Composite/Tibco DV, Alteryx, Tableau, Microstrategy, Erwin, PowerDesigner and other industry leading data integration and management tools is a must + Candidates are expected to have had hands-on application DBA, DB development and ELTL experience in technologies such as Oracle/Exadata, Hadoop and Informatica with strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and database architectures. + Knowledge of Agile SDLC methodologies, DevOps, micro-services, API design, Containers and Tech Infrastructure + Based on the different work streams that are part of this role, the ideal candidate would specialize in all aspects of data management, including Data Modeling, Database Design and Database Migration Support (Relational and NoSQL), Master Data Management, ELTL/Data Virtualization/Data SOA, Metadata Management, Tiered Storage, BI/Reporting/Analytics. **Skills:** + Analytical Thinking + Architecture + Result Orientation + Solution Design + Technical Strategy Development + Application Development + Collaboration + Data Management + DevOps Practices + Risk Management **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 **Pay Transparency details** US - NJ - Jersey City - 101 Hudson St - 101 Hudson (NJ2101) Pay and benefits information Pay range $103,700.00 - $162,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
