Information Assurance Specialist

Overview

Tuvli is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Information Assurance Specialist (IAS) for an existing government client. The place of performance for this contract is in Alexandria, VA. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

The IAS shall support DOS, DS, and the Office of Security Technology in implementing security controls on SMSe. The Contractor shall be required to prepare documentation for all system changes and upgrades; work closely with customer, operations team management, and DOS IA personnel to guide paperwork through approval process, and maintain configuration baseline of approved SMSe implementation.

Responsibilities

Supports DOS, DS, and the Office of Security Technology in implementing security controls on SMSe.

Prepares documentation for all system changes and upgrades.

Works closely with customer, operations team management, and DOS IA personnel to guide paperwork through approval process and maintain configuration baseline of approved SMSe implementation.

Identifies, reports and resolves security violations.

Applies expertise to Government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.

Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.

Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.

Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provide basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.

Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.

Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.

Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must possess a BA

Must possess an active Secret security clearance

Must have 3-5 years direct experience

Posted Salary Range

115000.00 - 125000.00
