Job Description:

   

An HPC Information Developer Intern is typically a four-year university student who will be working in an HPE technical internship role during their study or in summer breaks between university semesters. Candidates for this internship will be pursuing a college degree program in Technical Writing or Computer Science with a Technical Writing focus.

During your internship you will collaborate with Knowledge Management project leads and HPE Cray engineering teams to create, revise, edit, maintain, and publish multiple content deliverables related to HPE Cray Supercomputing and Slingshot software and hardware. Deliverables may include system and operating software installation, system administration, system monitoring, system diagnostics, user access node installation and administration, firmware, command line interface, online help, and more.

The primary duties for this position are expected to include:

Create technical product documentation for software products and hardwareDesign and develop written and visual product-related informationHelp develop an exceptional customer experience that unites information from multiple development teams and tools Manage workload in Jira and source management tools, including SDL, Oxygen, Git, and Github, to manage changes in the shared work environmentCreate, revise, and manage content in Oxygen Author (DITA), Markdown, and other content toolsTrack and manage multiple work items simultaneously Work with developers, testers, product managers, technical support, and training to identify new features and content that needs to be reworked Work under the direction of experienced Knowledge Management team members

Education and Experience Required:
High School Degree with 3rd Year of University program completed--typically a Technical Writing degree specialization.

USD Hourly: $27.50 - $33.25
