Amazon World Wide Grocery Store Tech (WWGST) is seeking an experienced and proven TMP to lead strategic Information Governance Program initiatives that support WWGS data goals. This is a unique opportunity for someone inspired by the WWGST core values and is interested in Amazon’s high-growth grocery business to bring their whole self to the role.

Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced TPM II who will leverage their experience and talent to lead Information Governance Program initiatives. This high impact role will be part of a team that will mature WWGS data management processes and standards. This role will also help to move a patchwork of 3p solutions to 1p. You will partner with Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Analysts, Product Managers, and other Program Managers inside and outside of the team. You will use your organization skills, backbone, and high sense of ownership while collaborating with the rest of your team. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on our data quality, data use, and data ownership. You will be a part of a Information Governance team well versed in best practice and will contribute to deliver the nascent Information Governance Program to Amazon WWGS.

A day in the life
- Work with your leadership to define and execute the Information Governance Program strategy for WWGS.
- Leverage SQL to understand our data better and to perform gap analysis.
- Leverage BI Visualization tools to create information hubs for WWGS consumers.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on WWGS-wide governance programs.
- Knowledge of AWS technology stacks.
- Participate and lead governance standards or policy meetings in order to capture details from Tech and Business Subject Matter Experts.
- Write documents to build alignment with stakeholders or leadership on various Information Governance initiatives.
