Information Operations Planner

COLSA Corporation is seeking an Information Operations (IO) Planner in support of the Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) in Quantico, VA. This work supports the MCIOC, the Marine Corps Information Command (MCIC) and Marine Corps operational forces. The position will assist IO planning in support of deployed teams, Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTF), and other organizations as needed. Successful candidates will be able to assist in the conduct responsive IO analysis, planning and targeting support to augment designated commands during training, exercises, and deployments and operations. Planning efforts will follow various processes (e.g. Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP)). Regional planning support focus will depend upon on the situational needs of the Marine Corps. May require off-site support and periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel (up to 1-2 weeks per quarter).
Responsibilities Include:
· Support planning and de-confliction of tasks, actions, activities, and priorities in coordination with operations and in support of Marine Corps mission.
· Provide input for regionally-aligned support teams.
· Attend and participate in staff meetings, working groups, conferences and operational planning teams as applicable to IO planning.
· Assist with coordinating support requests from the Fleet Marine Forces.
· Assist with coordinating support for ongoing, planned, and projected operations and external exercises.
· Provide input for internal exercises including the Information Warfighter Exercise (IWX) both in a classroom and field environment.
· Conduct and provide regional reach-back support to deployed IO Detachments and Expeditionary PSYOP Teams (EPT).
· Collect lessons learned, to include facilitating writing and/or editing reports for MCIOC submission to the MCCLL. Interface with MCCLL as required.
· Develop and submit ad-hoc reports.

Required Experience
One of the following combinations of education/experience:
+ + High school diploma and 12 years of related and applicable experience
+ Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related and applicable experience
+ Master’s degree and 7 years of related and applicable experience
+ Related experience must include 3+ years direct experience planning or supporting Information Operations Planning, MILDEC, DISO, MISO or similar activities.
+ Active TS/SCI clearance; US Citizenship
+ Able to travel for off site support and periodic CONUS or OCONUS travel (up to 1-2 weeks per quarter or less)
+ Completion of an advanced Information Operations planning course (such as AIOPC, SIOPC, AMOIC)
Preferred Qualifications
• Related experience with military planning processes and policy.
• Related experience or training with Information Related Capabilities (i.e. PSYOP, OCO, DCO, Civil Affairs, Space, EW, Deception, etc).
• Experience providing analysis of non-US information operations.
• Completion of military staff planning courses such as Command and Staff or similar level.
• Experience working with the USMC, MAGTFs, or Combatant Commands.
