About Information Security Services

 

The Technology Services division supports the growth of the Product Houses through the provision and management of infrastructure and operating systems required to run the business operations. managing security objectives against business risks by coordinating security controls and capabilities across people, processes, and technologies.

 

Key Purpose

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team enables the right individuals within the Discovery Group to access the right resources at the right times and for the right reasons, within a managed governance framework.

The purpose of the IAM Analyst is to ensure that existing identity management integrations remain functionally operationally. Project participation is required to deliver new Identity and Access management and governance related initiatives to internal stakeholders. The framework should be continuously expanded to collect, consolidate and store user accounts and their access across business systems, both those integrated to the identity management framework already and those not.

 

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

Project management (20%) – This will include providing regular updates on progress made to the relevant stakeholders. Forum / meeting / stand-up representation may be required. Expectation management skills will be rife. Projects (50%) – This will include compiling new project specifications, conducting unit testing, facilitating JAD sessions with customers, and implementation of solutions. Production support (20%) – Ensuring that support queries are dealt with within agreed time frames. An investigation will need to be conducted in order to derive at a resolution. Comprehensive feedback will need to be sent to the requestor following the completion of the investigation. Stats will need to be captured accurately and saved centrally Problem/Incident Root Cause Analysis (5%) - Participate in the investigation, diagnosis and solution testing related to logged incidents and Problems Meetings and admin (5%) - Participate in team related meetings or knowledge transfer sessions that may have immediate or long-term benefits

Education and Experience

3-year university degree preferred Security qualification such as CISSP is advantageous IDM integrations and tools including PowerShell scripting (Active Directory module), SQL (PL/SQL and TSQL), REST and JSON, and Linux and Windows OS experience Experience with various authentication protocols (Kerberos\SAML\OpenID\OpenAuth\etc) Experience with various directory services, such as Active Directory, OpenLDAP, Novell\NetIQ\MicroFocus eDirectory, and so on, is essential 5+ years IdAM experience is essential
