Insurity’s Next Information Security Analyst

Seeking an up-and-coming expert to scale Security Operations at Insurity through hands-on technical experience, an investigative and curious mindset, and collaboration across the enterprise.

What Our Information Security Analyst Will Do

First-line support for Virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC) notifications, including continually monitoring the security of network and responding to security alerts while performing initial triage and providing updates to team members as needed.In the event of an incident, respond, triage, and contain the issue in partnership with our external vSOC team and internal stakeholders.Daily monitoring and follow-up of antivirus alerts, vulnerabilities, and DLP notifications.Participate in internal and external audits under the direction of senior Enterprise Security Team members to test the effectiveness and accurate scope of security practices.Test, evaluate, and troubleshoot security operations tools. Keep them up to date and implement them with support from management.Participate in responding to security related incidents and provide technical assistance as requested by management.Participate in meetings and briefings for the Enterprise Security Team and other Insurity teams where recommendations for change are presented to mitigate security operational issues or concerns.Pulling reports and creating dashboards from various InfoSec tools.Review penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, zero-day vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation with appropriate team(s).Respond to and provide support for information security related inquiries from various departments.Participate in rotating on-call schedule for monitoring and responding to security alerts.Working across all functions in the business collaboratively to achieve success on InfoSec goals.

Who We’re Looking For

Knowledge and experience in operating enterprise-level SecOps tooling, including Splunk, CrowdStrike, Rapid7 Insight VM, etc.Knowledge and experience with security incident management events.Knowledge and experience with digital forensics is a plus.Knowledge of the implementation and execution of cloud security controls in accordance with NIST SP800-53 / CSF, SOC 2, and/or PCI-DSS.Knowledge and experience in the cloud security threat and vulnerability assessment processes to monitor and remediate vulnerabilities.Knowledge and experience in designing baseline configuration guidelines and implementing continuous monitoring mechanisms of those guidelines for AWS cloud and Azure cloud is a plus.

This is a highly technical role that requires hands-on technical skills in the areas mentioned above, as well as a variety of other technologies and environmentsDemonstrate experience with commonly used Enterprise Security tooling including EDRs, SIEMs, DLPs, Perimeter Defense, Network Security, and other core capabilitiesPrior experiences with security incidents are a plusMS Office, Workflow management systemsBachelor’s degree in a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)Minimum 2 year as an Information Security analystCISSP, CISA, Security+ or other security certifications are a plus0 -10% travel may be required

We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000  commensurate with experience.
